The 40th Anniversary Tour is an ongoing concert tour by Dream Theater celebrating 40 years since their inception. The tour is taking place from Oct. 20, 2024 to Jul. 29, 2025. This is the band's first tour with Mike Portnoy on drums since he left Dream Theater following the release of Black Clouds & Silver Linings in 2009, its subsequent tour cycle in 2010, and his return to the band in October 2023.
