Notes

The title of the song refers to an electro-mechanical German cipher device used in WWII. The British set up the Bletchley park project to crack the code, which Alan Turing eventually achieved.

Tone

According to Petrucci, the theme surrounding the instrumental is a secret agent/spy music. This becomes evident in the atmospheric keyboard intro, and the driving main riff, both of which are reminiscent of James Bond movies, albeit heavier and more progressive.
