• This album will feature lyrical contributions from Mike Mangini, James LaBrie, and John Myung, as well as John Petrucci.
• This album will use left over ideas from the Astonishing sessions.
• This album will supposedly feature 8-string guitars.
• This album is the band's first with a new label.
• On July 10th, the band announced on their Instagram that they had finished doing demos for the album.
• John Petrucci's beard apparently has the aroma of a "nice blend of bourbon and cedar."
